Under the Ministry of Education's supervision, the Central Government's school network is called Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan, or KVS. With more than 1250 sites throughout India and a few outside, KVS is the biggest educational institution in the nation. Initially established in 1963, the institution was known as Central Schools.
